DNA Sequencing Platform

High-throughput DNA sequencing platform with a capacity of 6 million bp per day has been established at CHGB. The platform was one of the partners carrying out the International Collaboration on human genome sequencing project in China. We have also completed a number of microbe genome sequencing projects, such as white spot syndrome virus, xanthomonas campestris pv. Campestris, and Shigella flexneri 2a. Besides whole genome sequencing, the platform also services for functional genomics, looking for functional genes involving in human important diseases.
