Bioinformatics Platform

Currently the Bioinformatics Platform contains the Sequencing and Analysis Pipeline, the Gene Expression Data Analysis System, and the Genetic Resource Database. The Bioinformatics Platform made extraordinary and critical contributions to the success of CHGB in participation of the Human Genome Project, the whole genome sequencing of Shigella flexneri 2a strain 301 (Figure 1), the whole genome sequencing of Ketogulonicigenium vulgare, the genome annotation of Staphylococcus epidermidis ATCC 12228, and the EST sequencing of Trichophyton rubrum. In addition, we are setting up and improving the Proteomics System and SNP Analysis System.
