Human important genetic resources platform

Human important genetic resources platform aims at collecting, protecting and developing Chinese human important genetic resources. Up to now, CHGB has 20,000 samples for heart research and has deposited thousands of samples such as cells and DNA samples from patients with heart disease, hypertension, cancer, Alzheimer disease, etc. At the same time, CHGB has established an integrated system of data collection & storage, data analysis and annotation as well as the expression profiles of fatal liver, fetal hippocampus, tissues from hypertensive patients, etc. Now human important genetic resources platform in CHGB is the genetic resources hub in North China.

Principle of Collection:
The approaches on human genetic diversity, human evolution and disease-related genes are depending on abundant human genetic resources. The Depository will protect the human genetic resources; maintain dignity and security of participants. The CHGB Genetic Resources Database-Human Genetic Resources Collection Procedure and CHGB Genetic Resources Database-Ethic Departmant Working Procedure will be strictly followed in the performing of collection.

Principle of Using:
Human important disease-related genetic resources are rare and precious. CHGB makes topmost decision on resources administration, examination and using.
