Platform for research on structure and function of genes and their protein products of important bioactivities specific to the nervous system

In the past two years, we have set up the techological system focusing on the structure and function of genes and their protein products of important bioactivities that are specific to the nervous system. There are mainly three aspects in our efforts: expression and purification of functional recombinant proteins, screening at molecular and cellular levels, and functional investigation. The ultimate goal is to find those candidate genes as drugs and drug targets, and facilitate the development of the medicine industry characterized by modern biological technology.
