The Chinese National Human Genome Center, Beijing(CHGB), was
established in Sept., 1998 as one of the national-level genome research center
approved by the Ministry of Science & Technology. |
| |
|
| |
Up to now, CHGB has established 9 technological
platforms to support our research, such as large scale DNA sequencing platform,
functional genomics platform, proteomics platform, bioinformatics platform, SNP
platform, siRNA platform, genescan platform, genetic resources platform, molecular
cytogenetics platform. CHGB focuses on participating domestic and international
human genomics projects and openes to collaborating with the researchers from
China and all over the world . |
|
|
|
| |
CHGB has undertaken 66 national projects.
For instance, accomplishing 1% HGP genome sequencing (terminal of p-arm on chromosome
3), identifying gene of hereditary opalescent dentin. |
| |
|
| |
CHGB has an academic committee including
26 experts and scientists in life science. |
| |
|
| |
From year 1999 to present, CHGB has published
more than 70 papers on Nature Genetics, Nature, FASEB J, Journal of Biological
Chemistry, etc.
|
|
|
|
| |
CHGB has applied 17 families of PCT and Chinese patents, and
gained more than 10 awards, such as China Awards for Natural Science and Chinese
Medical Sciences and Technology Award.
